Diversion Programs are designed to divert clients from the Juvenile Justice System by providing counseling, social skills development, mentoring etc. so that the person can remain a productive citizen in society.These programs are also designed to divert clients from the inability to own their homes through our New Vision Community Development Corporation.

Children in Need of Services / Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS)

We are focused on also improving our prevention program, Children in Need of Services, Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS) to help tackle the youth and their families through counseling, focus groups and providing referrals as needed to keep them from entering the DJJ and DCF system. Children in Need of Services/Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS) is a Family Diversion Program designed to strengthen families; equipping them with a better understanding of how to cope with life challenges. Youth participating in this program must be 6 to 17 years old.A program specific referral form is available for this program upon request.

New Vision Community Development Corporation (NVCDC)

HUD certified housing counseling agency that provides counseling services to first-time home buyers; assessing the clients credit, income, budget, and money management.New Vision Community Development Corporation welcomes outside referrals.

The mission of New Visions Community Development Corporation, Inc. is to develop and implement community revitalization strategies that will improve the quality of life for low to moderate income and disadvantaged residents in Broward & St. Lucie counties and other organizational areas.


Intervention Programs are designed to intervene on behalf of a person who is in need of a structured environment in their lives.

Foster Home Management Program

MBHSC is “The Community Sanctuary; Building Families, Changing Lives” and we aim to do just that for our youth. We plan on identifying, training and placing youth in quality homes through our Foster Home Management (FHM) Program. This program is designed to provide children who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse, neglect or abandonment with a stable nurturing environment where they can develop to their fullest potential. Mount Bethel Human Services will train, license, place children, and manage the Foster Homes, throughout Broward, Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast Counties.


Prevention Programs are designed to provide community based support services that assist the client in their daily needs and prevents them from further declination of self-worth.

The Family Resource Center

Designed to provide neighborhood–based support services that include but are not limited to: Food Pantry on Thursday’s only, Community Enrichment, Referral services and more!
